Prevention for the Health of North Carolina
"By addressing underlying preventable health risk factors with evidence-based prevention strategies, death and disability in North Carolina can be reduced and population health can be improved." This is the viewpoint that the authors of this issue of the North Carolina Medical Journal take, and they explore prevention variety of perspectives. With a wide variety of viewpoints offered, this issue builds off of the work of the North Carolina Institute of Medicine's Task Force on Prevention, which concluded earlier last year.
